AvtoVAZ’ sales in Russia more than double to 38,284 cars in May

MOSCOW, Jun 3 (PRIME) -- Car sales of carmaker AvtoVAZ in Russia more than doubled on the year to 38,284 units in May, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

“In May 2021, 38,284 Lada cars and light commercial vehicles were sold in Russia, which is almost 2.5 times higher than the results of May 2020 (16,663 units),” the statement said.
